Every so often, an unexpected email lands in your inbox that you almost flag as spam. That’s exactly what happened when DesignRush reached out about featuring the website I built for T.rex AI.
I’m generally skeptical of unsolicited emails from strangers looking to sell me something—but in this case, it turned out to be a genuinely mutual (and free) opportunity. Their editorial team had come across the project and wanted to include it in their curated selection of Best Professional Services Website Designs.
DesignRush is a well-established platform that connects brands with top agencies in web design, development, and marketing. They’ve featured work for names like Prada, Fenty, and FIFA—so seeing T.rex AI listed among that mix was a nice surprise.
This project was a excellent collaboration. T.rex AI and I teamed up with Edmonton-based design studio Curio, who delivered a bold new visual identity. I then rebuilt the site to reflect the new design and the requirements of the growing startup, supported by the Experts on Demand program from Edmonton Unlimited, which made the work possible at no cost to the client.
Beyond the rebrand, I revisited the site’s structure, SEO, and CRO strategy—using analytics from the original build to inform the new content and layout.
