About The Project
Jaima Fixsen, a USA Today bestselling author, needed a fresh website to coincide with the launch of her new novel, The Specimen. Her old website was self-built and had become outdated, making it difficult to showcase her expanding bibliography effectively. The goal was to create a professional, modern, and visually cohesive website that reflected Jaima’s personality and writing style while providing an intuitive experience for her readers.
Approach
To ensure the new website aligned with Jaima’s brand, I focused on creating an aesthetic that matched her personal style and genre. I worked closely with her to streamline the website’s content for better readability and navigation.
A catalogue of professional photos from a recent shoot with the fantastic Michelle from Ampersand Grey helped enhance the site’s overall look and feel.
The design prioritizes user experience and accessibility, making it easy for visitors to explore her books, learn about upcoming releases, and connect with her work. The site was built with WordPress and Elementor, ensuring easy updates and flexibility.
